DoctoMoris is not for medical emergencies. If you or someone else is in danger, call 114 immediately or go to the nearest emergency department.
1. About DoctoMoris
DoctoMoris is operated by United Next LTD and provides a technology marketplace where patients can find and book appointments with independent doctors.
DoctoMoris is not a healthcare provider. We are not a clinic, hospital, insurer, pharmacy, or medical practice. We do not provide diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, or medical advice.
2. Acceptance and Eligibility
These Terms apply to patients, doctors, and visitors. By using the platform, you confirm that you are legally able to do so.
The platform is intended primarily for adults. If a booking or account involves a person below the relevant age threshold, parent or legal guardian consent or involvement must be obtained where applicable.
Your use of the platform is also subject to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
3. Marketplace Role Only
DoctoMoris provides booking, scheduling, and related platform tools only. The platform does not provide healthcare services and does not take responsibility for any clinical decision, medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, or outcome.
Doctors are independent practitioners and are solely responsible for the care they provide. Patients choose whether to book with a doctor and remain responsible for their own healthcare decisions. DoctoMoris does not recommend or guarantee any doctor, consultation, or outcome.
4. Doctor Independence and Verification
Doctors on DoctoMoris are independent professionals and are not employees, agents, or representatives of DoctoMoris.
DoctoMoris may perform manual checks during onboarding and verification, including checking professional registration details against available sources. Those checks are best-effort checks only and are not a continuing guarantee of professional status, quality, suitability, or outcomes.
5. Bookings and Appointments
When a patient books through DoctoMoris, the booking is made with the selected doctor, not with DoctoMoris. The doctor remains responsible for availability, attendance, cancellations, rescheduling decisions, fees, and any consultation-related obligations.
DoctoMoris does not guarantee that any requested or confirmed appointment will take place and is not liable for missed, delayed, cancelled, or rescheduled appointments.
6. Payments
Consultation payments remain direct between the patient and the doctor. DoctoMoris does not process consultation payments, hold patient money, or manage refunds between patients and doctors.
For video consultations, the platform may display payment instructions or request proof of payment so the doctor can confirm the booking. That does not make DoctoMoris a payment processor or a party to the payment arrangement.
7. Video Consultations and File Sharing
Video consultations are conducted directly between the patient and the doctor using a link or tool provided by the doctor. DoctoMoris provides the booking infrastructure only.
Appointment file sharing is available for relevant medical documents only, is private to the patient and doctor in that appointment, and files are automatically deleted 14 days after the appointment is marked completed. This feature is not for emergencies and is not a permanent records system.
8. User Obligations
Users must provide accurate information, keep account credentials secure, and use the platform only for lawful purposes. Users must not misuse the platform, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access data or accounts they are not authorised to access.
9. Intellectual Property
All platform content, design, code, and materials are owned by or licensed to DoctoMoris. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, DoctoMoris is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage arising from use of the platform, including loss of data, appointments, income, or any harm resulting from a consultation or clinical decision.
11. Termination
DoctoMoris may suspend or terminate access to the platform at any time where there is a breach of these Terms, misuse, or for operational or legal reasons.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Mauritius. Any dispute arising under these Terms is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Mauritius.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The published version on this page is the current version. Continued use of the platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
